EcoloBlu: Make Your Own Water

There are plenty of eco-friendly products that let you save the environment and save money at the same time. But not too many come close to what you get with EcoloBlu. I was lucky to hear about EcoloBlu on the radio a while back. I have always wondered about ways to generate clean water at home, and that is exactly what EcoloBlu does. It generates water out of thin air. Literally. The technology is not actually that complicated, but you can’t argue with the quality of water that you get with these systems. Here is how the company defines its products:

EcoloBlue™ is a state-of-the-art Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) that produces purified drinking water from the humidity in the air.To ensure the purified drinking water, EcoloBlue™ uses a multi-stage filtration system free of chemicals, using the “Filmtec Reverse Osmosis Membrane “, Carbon Filters and the “Phillips Ultra Violet” lamps, while the “Electrostatic Anti-bacteria & Anti-fungus” filter is cleaning the air in your home/office.

You can easily pick up one of these for your home and office. Of course, industrial products are also available. Ecoloblu comes in three models:

• Ecoloblu 28: provides you with 28 liters per day. Each liter essentially costs you a few cents. It’s a 450 watts machine, so it doesn’t consume too much energy.
• Ecoloblu 30: provides you with 30 liters of water per day. It’s more energy efficient than Ecoloblu 28 as it’s a 280 watts machine. It comes with a 12 stage filtration process.
• Ecoloblu 30s: this model which is expected to make its debut soon comes with customized carbonation feature. But it’s as energy efficient as Ecoloblu 30 and gives you 30 liters of water per day.

Ecoloblu solutions are not cheap by any means. Let’s just say they are not made for those who are running a business on a tight budget. While the water will be as pure as you can expect it to be with these products, you’ll have to spend money on these machines and their filters. Of course, if you can afford these machines, you are never going to have to put up with impure water.
